Cooking Turkey Boobs

Here's a straightforward and tasty way to cook fried turkey nuggets:

🦃 Fried Turkey Nuggets Recipe

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb turkey breast (cut into nugget-sized chunks)

  • 1 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp vinegar/lemon juice as a substitute)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup cornmeal (optional, for extra crunch)

  • 2 eggs

  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

🔪 Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Turkey (Optional but recommended):

    • In a bowl, mix the turkey chunks with buttermilk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

    • Let it sit in the fridge for 30 minutes to 2 hours to tenderize and flavor the meat.

  2. Prepare the Breading Station:

    • In one bowl: beat the eggs.

    • In another bowl: mix flour and cornmeal (if using), along with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  3. Coat the Nuggets:

    • Remove turkey from the marinade.

    • Dip each piece into the egg, then dredge in the flour mixture until well coated. For extra crispiness, repeat (double-dip in egg and flour).

  4. Heat Oil:

    • Pour oil into a deep skillet or pot (about 2 inches deep).

    • Heat to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer if possible.

  5. Fry:

    • Fry nuggets in batches for 3–5 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F / 74°C).

    • Don’t overcrowd the pan.

  6. Drain:

    • Remove and place on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

🍽 Serve with:

  • Ranch, honey mustard, BBQ sauce, or spicy mayo

  • Fries, coleslaw, or a salad
